tatyana ali-5-1024x666Ali was a natural from a young age and quickly began her career in acting. Ali first appeared on screen in 1988 when she was in Crocodile Dundee II. In addition, Ali also made her appearances on TV screens. She appeared in a variety of TV series, such as A Man Called Hawk, Wally and the Valentines, The Cosby Show, Getting By and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Kidz In the Wood, Living Single, In the House, and numerous others. Ali's biggest breakthrough was when she introduced Ashley Banks to life on the hit TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the year 1990. The series, which starred Will Smith as the star had a tremendous success. It was one of NBC's top shows, ranking 12th in the most watched programming from 1990 until 1992. The show went on to be awarded two highly popular Golden Globe nominations.
