Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC fellow fighter is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko is a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to follow it up, and won a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold award in the year 2011 and the title of 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia launched her professional career at the age of 23 in 2003. She has won several championships, including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's final fight took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by unanimity. Antonina Shevchenko set her first professional MMA record in 2002 during KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She was victorious via TKO in round 2. Her two subsequent matches were held in WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her comeback with a win against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa via unanimous decision and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her striking abilities to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC during the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from her loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night reward for the bout. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights she lost to Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
